TERMITE TREATMENT

When a termite inspection reveals that you have subterranean termites, the specifics of the situation will dictate which of the following options is the most effective and affordable way to eradicate them.

 

Drill and Inject

 If the best means of access to the termites is through a concrete slab in the garage or patio, holes are drilled at one foot intervals. Then Termidor SC® is injected through the holes into the ground underneath the slab. At completion, the holes are neatly filled with rubber plugs or concrete patch material.

 

Trench

If access to the termites is in a garden, or loose earth area, a trench is dug and Termidor SC® is applied into the trench.

 

Bait Stations

Bait stations are placed in the ground at ten foot intervals around the structure and monitored regularly for termite activity. If the stations reveal such activity, a bait toxic to subterranean termites will be placed inside the monitoring stations.
